Saoud Abdallah works primarily with natural sand and mixed media on canvas, creating textured compositions that balance materiality with emotional depth. Through layered surfaces and restrained figurative forms, his practice explores themes of memory, absence, and the human condition.
“I love to keep the invisible end secret; perhaps it stimulates my desire to meditate. I cannot see everything at once, so I always doubt.” — Saoud Abdallah
His work has been exhibited across Syria, Lebanon, the UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, the United Kingdom, and Italy. Born in 1976, Abdallah graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2005, followed by a postgraduate diploma in 2006.
