Naim Doumit (b. Mount Lebanon, 1941) studied painting and sculpture at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts before earning a diploma in wood sculpture from the Scuola Arti Ornamentali in Rome in 1965. Known for his abstract and fluid sculptural forms, he has exhibited extensively in Lebanon and internationally, while also teaching sculpture at the National Institute of Fine Arts in Lebanon since 1966.
