Rafik Majzoub (b.1971, Lebanon) is a self-taught painter and graphic artist who identifies as an “Outsider Artist,” holding a distinctive position within the post-war Lebanese art scene.
His work focuses on the human condition and the search for the self. His canvases often carry expressive yet unfinished qualities, giving them a timeless, spontaneous, and evolving character. Through tension and instinctive gesture, Majzoub explores the liberation of the unconscious.
He has presented a retrospective charting the progression of his practice and his evolving creative direction. The artist currently lives and works in Marseille, France.
