Edgard Mazigi (b. Beirut, 1955) studied textile engineering at ESTL Lyon (1974–1978) and later painting at the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture (1994–1998), where he received the Excellence in Painting Award. Since returning to Lebanon in 1999, he has exhibited regularly in Lebanon and internationally. He lives and works in Beirut and has taught at the Lebanese American University and Saint Joseph University.
