Mahmoud Hamadani (b. Iran, 1958) studied Mathematics at the State University of New York and Public Administration at Harvard University. Known for his monochromatic ink drawings, his work explores rhythm, structure, and intangible states through repetition and variation. He has exhibited internationally, including at the British Museum and the New Museum, with works in major collections such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art. He lives and works in New York City.
