Art on 56th Gallery is pleased to present SHARED GROUND, its annual summer collective exhibition, bringing together thirteen contemporary artists whose diverse practices explore themes of connection, memory, landscape, identity, and shared experience.
At a time when coming together feels especially meaningful, SHARED GROUND celebrates the ability of art to foster dialogue, encourage reflection, and create points of connection across different perspectives. Through painting, drawing, and mixed-media
works, the exhibition highlights the richness of contemporary artistic expression while affirming the enduring role of creativity in shaping cultural exchange.
Bringing together established and emerging voices, the exhibition reflects the breadth of artistic practices represented by the gallery and offers visitors an opportunity to engage with a wide range of visual languages and ideas.
Participating artists include Haibat Balaa Bawab, Georges Bassil, Wissam Beydoun, Tarek Butayhi, Zouhair Dabbagh, Layla Dagher, Imad Fakhry, Mansour El Habre, Issa Halloum, Ghada Jamal, Dyala Khodary, Edgard Mazigi, and Mouneer Al Shaarani.
SHARED GROUND opens on Thursday, August 6, 2026, with a reception from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and remains on view through September 26, 2026, at Art on 56th Gallery in Beirut.
